International customers
Store your wardrobe in the UK. Request pieces from abroad — under the same pay-per-item model.
My Digital Wardrobe does not sell a separate “International” package plan. International use sits inside our standard pay-per-item membership: from £2 per garment per month while items are stored with us in the United Kingdom. Shipping, duties, and related costs for cross-border moves are extra.
What “international” means here
| Storage location | United Kingdom |
| Membership | Pay per item — from £2 per garment / month |
| You live or travel abroad | You may still hold items with us and request returns to an overseas address where we can arrange delivery |
| Not included in monthly storage | International shipping, duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and any special handling |
There is no £99.99 International package (or any other fixed international plan) on our public offer.
Shipping charges
-
Return (and any collection) shipping to destinations outside the UK is charged separately and is not covered by the monthly per-garment storage fee.
-
Quotes depend on destination, weight/volume, and service level. We will confirm costs before dispatch where practicable.
-
Rush or timed international services, if available, are priced on request.
Duties, taxes, and customs
Unless we agree otherwise in writing for a specific shipment:
- You are responsible for import duties, taxes, customs clearance, and any related fees in the destination country.
- Couriers or customs authorities may contact you for payment or documentation.
- Delays at customs are outside our control; we will share tracking and paperwork we hold to help you resolve issues.
Please check your destination country’s rules before requesting an international return.
Destination restrictions
- Not all countries or remote addresses can be served reliably.
- Some destinations may be refused by couriers, subject to sanctions, or impractical for apparel shipments.
- We may decline an international request where delivery is not reasonably available or would create unacceptable risk to your items.
Contact us before sending items if you expect to request returns outside the UK — we can confirm whether your destination is workable.
Timing
- International delivery times vary widely by destination, courier, customs, and request timing.
- Our consumer 48-hour marketing target relates to UK operational preparation where feasible; it is not an international delivery guarantee.
- Ask us for a realistic estimate for your country when you request a return.
Declared value and insurance in transit
- Cross-border shipments may require a declared value for customs.
- Courier liability on international legs is often limited. For high-value items, arrange appropriate transit insurance or contact us before dispatch to discuss options.
- See our Terms & Conditions for how loss and damage claims are handled, and contact hello@mydigitalwardrobe.co.uk for declared high-value arrangements if available.
Before you send (checklist)
- Confirm with us that your intended return destinations are acceptable.
- Budget for international shipping and possible duties/taxes on top of monthly storage.
- Keep proof of value for higher-value garments.
- Use hello@mydigitalwardrobe.co.uk for destination checks and shipping quotes.
